Which platforms is it on?
Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and mobile (Google Play and iOS) (official FAQ). The official press release also says it will be on Xbox Game Pass at launch. On Steam it is Windows-only; Mac and Linux are not listed (Steam store page).
How much does it cost?
£6.39 | $7.99 | €7.49, which may vary slightly by platform and region (official FAQ). Steam will offer a 10% discount in the first week after launch (Oct 6 Steam post). The Steam page itself did not show a price yet when we checked on October 24 — see release date & price.
Does it have Chinese language support?
Yes for Simplified Chinese: it is in the Steam store page’s supported-language list (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish – Spain, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian). Traditional Chinese is not listed. Steam does not mark any language with full audio. Source: Steam store page, checked October 24, 2026.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. Steam lists Full Controller Support, including DualShock and DualSense controllers, plus a keyboard-only option (Steam store page).
Is it Steam Deck Verified?
Yes. Auroch Digital announced Steam Deck Verified status on October 16, 2026 (Steam post); Valve’s compatibility report lists default controls, on-screen glyphs, legible text and default performance as passing. External controllers are not supported as the primary player on Deck (Steam Deck compatibility report).
Is there co-op or online multiplayer?
Not at launch. The official FAQ says the team is focusing on the single-player experience and will tell the community if multiplayer is added later. In-game squad followers are AI allies, not other players — see the squad system guide.
Is there a demo, and does my progress carry over?
A free demo is on Steam and Xbox PC (press release). Its October 6 build adds the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya. Progress from the earlier demo does not carry over to this one, and demo progress does not transfer to the full game (release announcement). Details: demo guide.

Yes at launch, per Auroch Digital’s official press release of October 6, 2026.
Can I pre-order it?
Pre-orders opened on PlayStation 5 on October 6; Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 from October 6 in select territories; Xbox from October 27, 2026. Some console platforms have a pre-order discount (release announcement). No Steam pre-purchase package was listed on October 24.

Which enemy factions are in the game?
Gloomspite Gitz, Skaven, Blades of Khorne, Tyranids, Orks and the Death Guard (official FAQ). Short explanations are in the glossary.
Can 40K and Age of Sigmar characters fight together?
No. Each universe has its own roster, weapons, enemies, stages and progression, with some shared weapons (Nov 11, 2025 FAQ post). The October demo adds a slight cross-universe effect to meta-progression (Oct 19 post).
